As we announced earlier this week,
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
has been given a PG-13 rating, and today,
we can tell you why.
According to filmratings.com, which is a website owned by the CARA,
(Classification and Rating Administration), which is a branch of the MPAA,
(Motion Picture Association of America),Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One
will be rated PG-13 for "sequences of intense action violence and frightening images".
It has been known that the seventh Harry Potter film has caused much dispute within
the MPAA, for they and Warner Bros could not seem to agree on a rating.
But now, only 33 days away from the film's release, we are happy to announce that
the film WILL be rated PG-13, and as such, we do not recommend it as a film for
young children.
