Final Harry Potter 8 movie poster officially released!

I am delighted to announce that a brand-new poster
for the eighth and final Harry Potter movie in the series,
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two,
has been released, and can be seen here, to the left.

It features Harry's face on the left, looking straight at
Voldemort's face, which is on the right. the Elder Wand
is in the middle, between the two faces.

We can confirm that this is an official movie poster,
but according to a statement on other, larger fansites
like mugglenet.com, this is supposed to be
the last poster for the Harry Potter movies.

Enjoy!

Flashback moment: Rare Harry Potter photos

It's been a while since we posted our first
Harry Potter flashback moment, but this month,
we've decided to make up for the delay by
using two special photos.
On the top is a old black and white photo
of a younger Dan Radcliffe, (Harry Potter)
and Rupert Grint, (Ron Weasley),
The picture is taken on their first filming day,
if I remember correctly.

The second pic, I think, was taken just prior
to the release of the first film, when Warner Bros
announced Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and
Emma Watson as the actors chosen to
portray Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and
Hermione Granger on the silver screen.

Enjoy the photos!

New official Harry Potter 8 movie still released online!

We have, now, perhaps the first, official
movie pic for the final Harry Potter movie,
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.
You can see it to the left of these words.
Harry is standing somewhere inside
Hogwarts castle, we think.

It doesn't look like any scene from the book,
so it might be an added movie scene.

Either way, thanks to Warner Bros. for this movie still!
We'll have a full discussion on this pic on our next episode
of PhoenixCast, our unofficial Harry Potter podcast.

HP8 sneak peek released online!

We have, above, an all new sneak peek of

and so much more. We highly reccomend watching the sneak peek,
even though the music in it is from the previous movie.

New upcoming LEGO Harry Potter sets revealed!

We are happy to announce that LEGO
will be continuing to produce Harry Potter themed
building sets. To the left is the Hogwarts Castle
set, which will be much different then the one
that was released this past fall.

To the right is another, currently unnamed set,
featuring Harry, Voldemort, Hagrid, and someone
we believe to be Narcissa Malfoy.

To the left is the third Harry Potter set,
with Harry, his owl, Hedwig,
the Knight Bus, and its drivers,
Stan and Ernie.

Look for these sets out in stores
sometime during the summer,
or early fall!

We'll keep you posted as we find out more information!

More info on upcoming Harry Potter 8 ABC Family footage!

Just earlier today, we told you that ABC Family
planned to air a special sneak peek from
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.

Now we have a press statement issued online, detailing the sneak peek:

Faithful Potter fans will also be given a chance to go behind-the scenes,
with never-before-seen interview footage from the cast and filmmakers,
which give insights on key scenes from “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,”
as well as revisiting important moments from the previous films, to prepare for the final battle
that takes place in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.”

The never-before-seen footage that will be airing throughout the weekend
includes a look back at Harry and Ginny’s relationship,
director David Yates’ take on Harry and Hermione’s relationship,
the origins of The Marauder’s Map, and a look into the very last shot
of principal photography of the film franchise with producer David Baron.

ABC Family will also be airing exclusive sneak peeks at some of
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,” most exciting moments, including
Harry & Draco’s fight in the Room of Requirement, the hair-raising dragon sequences,
and the final courtyard battle between good and evil.

Expect this sneak peek to premiere on ABC Family sometime on Thursday,
and will probably air more then once, over the weekend.
Check for the specific marathon start time for your area.

Harry Potter 8 footage to air on ABC Family during Harry Potter movie marathon!

We have just received word from
MTV's blog that special footage from
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two
will be shown very soon on ABC Family
sometime during their Harry Potter
movie marathon, starting this Thursday.

ABC Family has been known to, in the past, debut
new and exclusive Harry Potter movie sneek peeks.

MTV believes this to be an actual scene from the film,
but I'm not so sure. As far as I can remember, ABC Family's
"exclusive Harry Potter movie sneak peeks", are never that exciting.
They show about 30 seconds of movie clips, and about another 60 seconds
talking to cast and crew, making for an overall 90 second "preview".

I honestly hope we see just one 1 minute clip from the film itself, and nothing else.
It's just not worth it talking to cast members who don't even  have much of a role in the film.

Please, Warner Bros; send us an actual clip! No more nonsense!

Either way, we hope to have the preview on our blog shortly after it airs.
Thanks to our viewers for all your support!

Harry Potter 8 teaser trailer rumored to be released March 25th!

We have just found out, thanks to imbd.com,
that a new Warner Bros. film, "Sucker Punch"
will be hitting theaters on March 25th.
Along with this, we've also received multiple
reports saying the HP8 trailer will be released
soon, but no release date was announced.

The reports of a completed HP8 trailer have begun to surface,
and we believe it's because the trailer's well on its way to being released.
"Sucker Punch" seems to be gunning for the same audience that
the Harry Potter movies maintain.

"Sucker Punch" will be coming out on March 25th, and is rated PG-13
for: "sexuality, violent combat sequences, and language."
This is very similar to the Harry Potter 6 movie rating reasons, which were:
"scary images, violence, language and mild sexuality."

If Warner Bros. was going to release a HP8 trailer in March,
this would be the perfect movie to put the trailer in front of.
We'll find out if this true, or not, on March 25!

Harry Potter to soon be available for rental on Facebook?

As of this past week, the 2008 Warner Bros. movie "The Dark Knight" has been
available for rental on Facebook, the increasingly popular social network.

For just $3.00 in Facebook credits, you can rent a film on the
Warner Bros. Facebook page for 24 hours.

Warner Bros. has stated that they intend to add more then just one
rental movie to their Facebook page. Could the Harry Potter movie series
be included in this list of upcoming films to hit Facebook?
The success of "The Dark Knight" on Facebook will determine the outcome.

We'll be putting up a poll shortly, and let our viewers have a chance to decide
wiether or not "Harry Potter" should be avaliable to rent on Facebook!
Let us know what you think! You have until next Saturday to vote!

we learned that the worldwide tour has been delayed,

as they will soon have the chance to step inside the famous

North American destination before going international.

Discovery Times Square box office (226 West 44th Street) or by calling (866) 987-9692.

and the highly anticipated finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows- Part 2,
will be on display, along with hundreds of original props and costumes from
all of the previous Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter 7 becomes best-foreign-performing Harry Potter movie!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
has now surpassed all other Harry Potter films
in terms of revenue outside of the U.S.

It has earned $656,900,000 overall,
excluding the revenue from within the U.S.

This proves that the interest in Harry Potter
has not died out yet, which is a
good sign for the final film,
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two ,
which enters theaters on July 15th.

NEW HP8 movie pic leaked online!

We just today got a copy of  this newest
character pic from the eighth Harry Potter film:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part Two.

You can see it to the left of this text.
Harry Potter book character Neville Longbottom,
holding the Sword of Griffindor
in his bloody hands.

He appears to have a bleeding wound up by his forehead,
and has ashes or dirt all over his face.

Thanks to Matt Lewis, Harry Potter movie actor who plays Neville Longbottom,
for putting this picture up on his twitter account for us fans to enjoy and discuss!

The news has started to spread that
the Harry Potter attraction being built in the UK,
"The Making of Harry Potter", will be planning on
 a Spring 2012 premiere.

We, along with many other sites,
got hold of this official statement,

Tickets will go on sale later this year and must be booked in advance via a dedicated website www.wbstudiotour.co.uk or through approved tour operators.

Featuring the authentic sets, costumes, animatronics, props and effects used in the production of all eight Harry Potter movies, the tour will showcase the British artistry, technology and talent that went into bringing this beloved film series to life.
