Site updates are produced, new features added!

Throughout today, as visitors, both new and old, might have noticed, we have been making serious improvements in our site today. Today, to help manage limited space, we have been able to create several different pages on our site, which greatly increases the interactiveness of the site in general.
The current pages that are linked to on our main page are:

*LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4,
*Harry Potter movie trailer gallery,
*And an updated site FAQ page!

However, over the next week or so, we will be casually updating the
Harry Potter movie trailer page, placing one trailer at a time every 1 to 2 days.
More pages may be released over the coming month, but none are confirmed to be
under production as of now.
as of now.

Bloomsbury to re-release HP books in UK

It has been revealed by Bloomsbury, producer of all seven HP books in the UK, that it is they're
intent to re-release all seven of the original Harry Potter books in the UK to:
"Appeal to the next generation of readers." This might seem rather odd, as Bloomsbury only finished
producing the original HP books less then three years ago.

Why the sudden urge to re-release the books? Mightn't it be a tad early for re-release?

All seven of the books will be re-released in the UK in a few months.

LEGO HP UK gameplay trailer now on site!

As stated in the comments page by our staff, the inatial transfer of video to site took longer then expected, but is now avalable for viewing on our site.

However, it is NOT located on the main site. It, along with some of are other LEGO Harry Potter
features, are being moved to a newly created part of the site.

If you'll look in the top left part of the main site, there is an FAQ link.
Underneth this is a LEGO Harry Potter page, still being filled.
Creating site links to other parts of our network is much easier to do then stuffing all of the features
on the main site. It also allows us to expand our features greatly, allowing much more features to be admitted unto our network.

Stay tuned in the following week for news of possible additional pages!

New LEGO Harry Potter game preview now online!

Thanks to LEGO and Warner Bros, we now have a brand new trailer of the game now on our site.

Unfortunetly, we had to get rid of the HP theme park preview in order
to fit the LEGO HP trailer on our cramped site.

This trailer, like the two proceeding it, focuses on a specific HP book.
The game itself contains the first four books in the series.

This newest trailer focuses exclusively on book/movie three in the saga.

Order of the Phoenix Network now avalable on Bing!

Thanks to our staff, this site can now be found in searches by: Yahoo! Bing, Google Blog Search, and more!

This may not be of much use to our current readers, but currently, it's a major improvement.

Notice to Site Viewers

To our site viewers, while updating our site, we have noticed that there has been some problems for some reaching our site.

If you are using anti-virius software or some other security softwares, you may have encountered this error too.

Before entering this site, some viewers may see a pop-up from the computor's security system saying something like: "Are you sure you want to proceed?" or something similar.

The problem is that, via feedburner, we have added a device to be able to count how many computors and networks visit our site. This feature causes a problem for those with enhanced security software because most security softwares are programmed to protect its user from software like our
Hit Counter we have installed on our site, thanks to FeedBurner.

This error does not appear to have any impact to our feed or our feed viewers and subscribers.

-Order of the Phoenix staff.

Ack! Feed errors occur!

To the people subscribed to us via feed, the feed for this site may be unavalable for the next hour or so,
because of errors that have been occuring when people try to reach our feed through our site.

This Problem should be fixed by 4:00 Eastern Standard Time,
sorry to everyone who has been affected by this problem.

Sincerely, Order of the Phoenix network staff.

Unexpected blaze damages HP7 film set during filming.

Recently, during filming of the final two part HP film, it was reported that a fire broke out in the midst of filming a battle scene. Luckily, no one was injured by the fire. Unfortunately, the estimated damage equaled
about £100,000. It was said that some parts of their Hogwarts castle set was damaged.

WB has so far refused to comment on what exact parts were damaged by the fire, or if they intend to
make the proper repairs so they can continue filming.

Hopefully, they have filmed most of what needed filming with that set, otherwise it is possible that the
second part of the film will be postponed until filming and other neccesities are completed.

After all, anything's possible.

New LEGO Harry Potter video now on site!

Thanks to mugglenet.com, we now have a new LEGO Harry Potter video!

Long story short, Warner Bros told mugglenet.com that they could post this new video of the game on
YouTube, which they did. So now, thanks to YouTube, the video has been uploaded onto this site,
and is fully functional.

The video has been confirmed to be the first cutscene in the game, complete and unedited.

And since this video has been confirmed as offical and approved by Warner Bros,
the chances of it being removed are very, very slim.

Enjoy!

-Order of the Phoenix Staff.

If there are any concernes of complants concerning the video or any other site feature,
please leave a comment in the comments tab under a new post, and your complant or
concern will be adressed as swiftly as possible.

New HP theme park preview now avalable for viewing

Earlier, a video sneek peek of the HP theme park attraction in Universal Orlando was revealed,
as well as actual footage of the almost-completed park.

A msnbc news reporter went down to the theme park and was allowed to film a quick two minute peice
on the theme park. In it, he went into some detail about what products stores in the HP park will be selling,
where some of the stores were located in the park, and even showed the Hogwarts school train.
All of the shown displays closely resembled their discription in the books & films.

Hopefully the rest of the HP park will be as true to the books & films as can be.

Thanks to both msmbc for the video and Mugglenet.com for first announcing it!

New interview with Jason Issacs now online

Thanks to fellow HP fan website snitchseeker.com, now avalable is a new interview with HP movie co-star
Jason Issacs, who is fairly well known by HP fans for his role as Lucious Malfoy in several of the HP films.

The interview was originally conducted by BBC radio, a UK radio station, and in this interview, Issacs discusses his upcoming role in the final two films, and the modifications made to his character.

Warning! Interview spoils certain parts of the final film, so don't listen to it if you don't want to be spoiled!

Scholastic releases new video of HP theme park

While it may not be on the same scale as the previous offical videos of the HP theme park,
this newest CG video does display more info about some of the shops inside the park.
Unfortunetly, with it only being about 45 seconds in length, it didn't have enough time to focus on
some of the other aspects of the HP park.

But either way, the video is avalable for viewing via link.
Just double-click the following link to watch the video.
(The video is in the right corner of the site.)

Daniel Radcliffe talks about final HP movie

"It was really hard," Radcliffe told MTV News.
"It was just one of those scenes where I think because I put a lot of pressure on myself to get it right beforehand, I wasn't able to relax and enjoy myself as I might have done otherwise. I was slightly annoyed by that."

Around that same time, as viewers may or may not recall, Radcliffe confirmed his involvement in the organization known as the Trevor Project, designed to be a helpful resource toward gay and lesbian people.

The Trevor Project can be found online at their site,
http://www.thetrevorproject.org/ .

Feed link repaired, FAQ page again features functional feed link

New blog visitors can once again have the luxury of having a direct feed link featured on the FAQ page,
which can be located on the left corner of the main page.

We are sorry for the error, which, we hope, will not happen again.

If viewers notice any other site error, please report it in the comments page under a new post,
otherwise, it may not be discovered or fixed immediately.

-Order of the Phoenix Network staff.

Feedburner errors occur, users may have been affected

As of late, users may have noticed that the blog feed link via FAQ page has been malfunctioning.
This may be because of the blog's name change some time ago, and so the link that was directed at our feed, which at that time was simply named: "The Order of the Phoenix." now that the feed has renamed, the faulty link presents a small problem.

We will release a post when that link once again becomes accsessible.

Order of the Phoenix Network gains new sponsor

Over the last few weeks, the Order of the Phoenix Network has been having great difficulty continuing one of our main goals, to make the world a better place.

Granted, this is not an easy task to set about doing, but Blogger, FeedBurner, and most importantly, our readers, have all been very supportive of the efforts.

In the past, this network has sponsored several legit organizations, such as the
Peace & Human Rights Campaign, Autism Speaks, and more.

Now, we are happy to announce our affiliation with the Focus Alternative Learning Center, located in Connecticut.   The goal of the organization is to increase awareness of Autism, and educate teachers, police, firefighters, and other groups on understanding individuals, both young and old, who have Autism.

Order of the Phoenix Network to celebrate 1st birthday

This May, the Order of the Phoenix Network will celebrate its first complete year online. We opened our doors May 9th 2009, and on that day this year we will celebrate by partly redesigning our website.
The staff of the Order of the Phoenix are currently refurring to the project as "Order of the Phoenix Network 2.0", because of the many changes we will be making. Not all of the changes have been decided as of now.
However, the following changes and errors in the original version of our site are being corrected, such as: More additions to the Language select feature, an updated FAQ page, A more steady cycle of rotating features,
slight appearance changes to the site, more interactive additions,
and more!

More information on version 2.0 to come in the coming weeks.

LEGO HP Years 1-4 gameplay trailer now on site

Thanks to youtube, The Order of the Phoenix now has a copy of the newest gameplay trailer of "LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4".

It reveals some of the gameplay in the game, wandwork,
and its two player capibilities. The game looks promising, and, as long as WB and LEGO don't pre-release every video in the game, it should be very fun to play, but for now, I'll let fans make their own opinion on the trailer.

It will be avalible on the main page for some time, so enjoy!

JK Rowling updates her Twitter account

At long last, JK Rowling, after creating a Twitter account this past year, had not, up until now, said very much on the social network for the past several months. Today however, she said this: "I am told that people have been twittering on my behalf, so I thought a brief visit was in order just to prevent any more confusion!". And around that same time, she also said:
However, I should flag up now that although I could twitter endlessly,
I’m afraid you won’t be hearing from me very often, as pen and paper
is my priority at the moment." Obviously she is hard at work on something.
The question remains: What?

This is the newest news on the HP author.

The Order of the Phoenix Network (OOTPN) will release futher news
on her "Pen and Paper" project when news becomes avalable.
